Akasa Venom Atto is a budget CPU fan cooler in the market. If you’d like to buy it, here’s the review.
When you do heavy work on your computer, and if you don’t have a high-end CPU, you can get frustrated by your CPU and its temperature might make you anxious. In a case like this, you should get another CPU cooler. In this way, you can overclock your CPU and gain better performance and you won’t worry about the high temperatures anymore.
In this video, we reviewed a CPU cooler that everyone can buy. Akasa Venom Atto is a budget CPU cooler and it is compatible with many sockets.
Supported sockets for Intel
- LGA 775
- LGA 1155
- LGA 1156
- LGA 1150
- LGA 1151
Supported sockets for AMD
- AM4 RYZEN
The part that I liked about this cooler is its copper pipelines. It has an 8 cm wide fan and with the help of this copper parts, your CPU gets cooler than before. It’s an easy and simple CPU cooler.
Pins are easily breakable
The worst part of this budget cooler is its pins. As I mentioned in the video, the pins are plastic and if you don’t know how to mount it you will have hard times. If you push it too much, you might break the pins. I obviously know how to mount it but still, I couldn’t do it because of the design of this cooler. Two of the pins are right below the cooler fan. When you try to reach them with a screwdriver, you end up detaching the fan out of the metal stakes.
We mounted this cooler on to a first generation Intel i5 760 cooler. The stock cooler had one pin missing and wasn’t working well anymore, so it was a must to change it.
