When you talk abut Gamescom, you should talk about graphics cards as well. Because that’s what the gamers and the designers of the games rely on, think and save for them. If we look at the market share of the graphics cards, we can say that majority of people love NVIDIA products.
With 10 series, NVIDIA sure made a difference. Low power consumption, better performance, and almost the same performance with the laptops. Now, it’s time to move on. NVIDIA’s next generation graphic cards, the 11 series, will be launched at Gamescom, the biggest video game fair in the world. The expo will start on August 2.
What will be the features of GTX 11 series?
According to Lenovo, NVIDIA will show the GTX 1180 and GTX 1170 in this expo. The new cards will be most likely based on Turing architecture. The first volume of shipping to company’s AIB (Add-in-Board) partners will be very low. It is been said that NVIDIA will send only up to 300 GPU’s per AIB initially.
You can expect double digit performance increase over GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, but how, much, we don’t know now. The high-end graphics card might feature 12 GBs of video RAM, 384 bit GDDR6 Memory and triple 8-pin connectors.
